0Survey of sex workers by pimps in Ireland actually got media attention
A survey of prostitutes working in Ireland managed to get some media traction this week. This happened despite the fact that it was carried out by one website which is run by the same people who run the biggest sex-for-sale website in Ireland. Convicted pimp Peter McCormick has a control over most of the market when it comes to advertising prostitution services in Ireland. It has, according to various Sunday World stories over the years, entirely ignored the fact that it is used by organised criminals who traffick people to Ireland to work in the vice trade.
